20th Century. Spring Highlights

From March 31 to April 2, 2026, Artcurial’s Brussels office, renowned for presenting exceptional works to the public ahead of its major Paris sales, unveils the exhibition 20th Century. Spring Highlights. Bringing together artists who profoundly transformed our way of seeing and representing the world, this presentation offers a journey through the twentieth century, from the sensitive observation of reality to the boldness of abstraction and contemporary creation. Through a selection of major works, the exhibition highlights the invention of new forms and the gradual affirmation of an increasingly free artistic subjectivity. A discreet nod to Belgium also runs through the selection, notably with a composition by Serge Poliakoff in black, yellow and red – recalling the colours of the national flag – alongside a work by Rik Wouters, a major figure of Belgian modernity, both drawn from Belgian collections.
