On 13 October 2026, nearly 4,000 drawings, designs and textiles will officially join the collections of the Horta Museum. Spanning almost two centuries, from the Edo period to the 20th century, the Van Hoe Collection sheds light on the close connections between textile design, ornament, technical innovation and architecture. Its addition to the museum’s collections coincides with the beginning of a multi-year partnership with TreeTop Asset Management, which will support the Horta Museum through 2029. Together, the donation and this long-term support open up new opportunities for research, knowledge sharing, the study of craft techniques and the museum’s future development.
