Horta Museum Restoration
//= $catTxt; ?>The Horta Museum (a UNESCO World Heritage site) is embarking on a major restoration, refurbishment, and renewal program, representing a total investment of €800,000. This ambitious project is part of a long-term strategic vision that goes beyond routine maintenance. It reflects the museum’s commitment to preserving the architectural and artistic integrity of Victor Horta’s house and studio to the highest standard, while also enhancing the visitor experience and preparing for future developments along the route. Through this program, the Horta Museum pursues a dual ambition: to safeguard a masterpiece of Art Nouveau facing the effects of time and structural challenges, and to gradually rethink visitor reception and circulation, making the experience of the house smoother, clearer, and more immersive, all while respecting the spirit and intentions of Victor Horta. The first phase of the restoration is scheduled for completion in November 2026, with a second phase in 2029 focusing on the opening of the garden to the public and the reorganization of the studio.
