From October 18 to November 23, 2024, Huberty & Breyne presents for the very first time in Brussels the work of Stéphane Blanquet, a protean French artist with a singular universe. His work is based on a reflection on fragmented bodies and disquieting landscapes, which, when embraced with the eye, seem to form a single organism. This art of metamorphosis harshly and subtly questions the viewer of his works. A leader in an art form halfway between art brut and figurative art, his work is regularly shown in institutional and alternative venues in Europe and Asia.
