From 11 September to 24 October 2026, Huberty & Breyne espace Brussels | Châtelain presents a new exhibition dedicated to Loustal, one of the leading figures in contemporary illustration and drawing. Bringing together a previously unseen selection of paintings, charcoal works, illustrations, sketches and reverse glass paintings, the exhibition highlights the remarkable coherence of an artistic career that moves across different techniques while preserving Loustal’s distinctive identity. From his dialogue with Georges Simenon and the publication of a book devoted to his charcoal drawings to the presentation of recent creations, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the world of Loustal, an artist renowned for his evocative atmospheres and poetic imagery.
