In the fall of 2025, The Jazz Sailor drops anchor in Belgium. Led by Italian saxophonist Angelo Gregorio—Artistic Director of the 2025 edition of Sa(n)remo in Jazz and now based in Brussels—this immersive concert pays tribute to the ocean through a sensory journey combining live music, storytelling, and visual projections. On stage, musicians and actors guide the audience through a poetic, sonic odyssey that celebrates the ocean’s beauty, power, and vulnerability. Designed as a voyage, the performance explores our deep connection to the sea and the urgent need to protect it, blending emotion and creativity throughout. Starting in September 2025, The Jazz Sailor will embark on a tour across Belgium, bringing its message to audiences in multiple cities. With this project, Angelo Gregorio seeks to shine a gentle but powerful light on one of our planet’s most fragile treasures: the ocean.
