Dave McKEAN. Thalamus
//= $catTxt; ?>In September, Huberty & Breyne is proud to publish the French edition of Dave McKean’s long-awaited book Thalamus, Part One. This work reflects the ability of a singular artist to look beyond the ordinary, to capture the essence of our inner worlds, and to translate these visions into something both strange and familiar—often unsettling, yet always sublime. In his own words, McKean retraces his artistic journey and reveals the hidden side of a body of work like no other.
To mark the release of this book, Huberty & Breyne is organizing a retrospective exhibition of McKean’s work in Brussels. It is an invitation to journey into the heart of his creative process, which has evolved across decades and across media. The exhibition highlights the diversity of his genius, from the spellbinding original pages of graphic novels to evocative photomontages and immersive series of illustrations of other worlds.
