From April 12 to May 11, 2024, the Huberty & Breyne gallery (Brussels) presents the first Belgian exhibition of Bastien Vives. Bastien Vives has had a particularly tumultuous year, following the cancellation of his exhibition at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême 2023, due to controversy. With his exhibition at Huberty & Breyne, Vives returns with a selection of more than 70 watercolor illustrations, most of which are new productions. The exhibition reveals not only the impact of these events on the author's imagination, but also his technique and talent.
