Thanks to a totally new immersive and interactive exhibition, this new museum puts the brain to the test and pushes the visitor into a world where appearances are often deceptive. Optical, tactile and auditory illusions make you lose your sense of what is real and what is not. Located on the rapidly expanding site of Tour & Taxis, it offers a large tour of almost 1500m2. The route is marked with science corners developed by Professor Steven Laureys, world-renowned neurologist and holder of the prestigious Francqui Prize. For more than an hour, you can interact, play, experiment, reflect and understand the cognitive mechanisms at work. The very ones that lead to differences of opinion or perception.
