From 6 November, the Belgian artist duo Frank&Robbert Robbert&Frank will present a new exhibition at the Erasmus House Museum. Based in Ghent, Frank Merkx and Robbert Goyvaerts develop a transdisciplinary practice at the intersection of sculpture, performance and theatre, where traditional craftsmanship and contemporary technologies engage in a dynamic dialogue, enriching one another. Rooted in a poetic approach, their work seeks to establish a genuine connection with the viewer. Visitors are invited not only to observe, but also to become active participants in the experience. By constantly questioning the role of the artist, they explore new ways of creating and presenting art, driven by experimentation, perseverance and humour.
