From 11 to 14 September, Carré Janson in Tournai will open its doors to the public for the Heritage Days of Wallonia. Over four days, visitors can explore the site through a photography exhibition, guided tours and a unique 360° view of the city from the rooftop terrace. It is a great time to discover Carré Janson, as the renovation has just been completed. Since Tempora took over the management of the site in March 2026, the building has entered a new phase. For now, its raw and authentic character has been kept intact, before the interior fit-out begins and the building takes on its new function.After previous visits, which allowed visitors to follow the different stages of the renovation, this time the focus is on the finished architectural project. Carré Janson is currently in an interesting in-between phase: the renovation is complete, but the interior is still waiting to be fitted out. For four days, visitors can discover the building as it is today – before the next chapter begins.
