This exhibition is a look at invisible materialities. Too unstable to be instrumentalized by our current techniques, these materialities act as interfaces between humans and the world around us, showing us other ways of making, feeling or perceiving. To delve into these intangibles, researchers and practitioners have assembled devices, instruments, bodies and DIY experiments. They manipulate different types of energy matter, such as dreams, the psyche, ectoplasm, aura, magic, magnetism... The Æthers (Claire Williams, Debora Levyh) collect and reactivate techniques of the invisible found in the archives of experimental and occult sciences. In "Les Télépathes", glass sculptures resonate with the neural frequencies of dreamers, while "13.77 billion years ago" features dust particles engraved with nanoscopic signs.
