(dates to be confirmed - end of August 2024) For its latest invitation to contemporary designers, the Musée Horta opens its doors to textiles. Four artists are invited to weave links between the house and their own artistic practice. The four chosen are : Elise Peroi, Flore Fockedey, Marc Van Hoe, Louisa Carmona. The Van Neder spinning mill is a fifth eminent partner: it is on the Jacquard looms of this Courtraise-based company that the designers will be able to experiment with their approach to pattern and ornament by working with velvet. From this relationship with Van Neder's artisanal know-how, each designer will produce a woven and ornamented work. Each guest artist will be assigned a room in the studio house, where they will have carte blanche. Four never-before-seen works, four rooms in the house reinvented to experience the Horta museum in a different way.
