We whirl through the night and are consumed by fire (by Espace 251 Nord)
//= $catTxt; ?>For the first time, the Treasury of the Cathedral opens its doors to contemporary art with the exhibition We whirl through the night and are consumed by fire. A unique event in Liège, it transforms this exceptional heritage site—world-renowned for its reliquaries and religious artworks—into a space for artistic innovation. Spread over 1,500 m² and eleven exhibition rooms, 78 Belgian and international artists, including painters, photographers, videographers, and visual artists, present more than 130 works that enter into dialogue with the museum’s historic treasures. Conceived and organized by Espace 251 Nord, the project invites visitors to reflect on the meaning of the sacred in the contemporary world, at the crossroads of memory and sensory experience.
