Daniel Henry. Les fleurs ne fanent jamais

Les Drapiers presents, from 4 October to 22 November, a new solo show by textile artist Daniel Henry—featuring works never before shown to the public. A graduate of ENSAV La Cambre, Daniel Henry has run a silkscreen and textile embellishment studio in Tournai for over 25 years. He divides his time between R&D for the textile industry, craft collaborations with luxury houses, and his own artistic practice, which he has been developing since 2014. In 2024, he was selected to create a permanent installation for the wedding hall of Brussels City Hall. Titled Les fleurs ne fanent jamais (Flowers Never Fade), the exhibition opens Les Drapiers’ new “Fleurs” cycle. Through richly layered textile compositions, Henry explores themes of intimacy—both material and symbolic—transforming everyday objects into precious artifacts that blur the line between the sacred and the ordinary.
