Daniel Henry. Les fleurs ne fanent jamais

From October 4 to November 22, Les Drapiers presents never-before-seen works by textile artist Daniel Henry. A graduate of ENSAV La Cambre, Daniel has been running a Tournai-based studio specializing in screen printing and textile enhancement for 25 years. He divides his time between research and development for the textile industry and craftsmanship in luxury houses, mainly in France. Since 2014, he has also showcased his personal exhibitions. In 2024, he won the competition to create a permanent artwork for the Wedding Hall of Brussels City Hall. The exhibition “Les fleurs ne fanent jamais” inaugurates Les Drapiers’ new “Fleurs” cycle and reflects Daniel Henry’s approach to elevating textiles. With a focus on intimacy—both materially and symbolically—he transforms everyday objects into precious ones, creating a meeting point between the profane and the sacred.
