After the success of the BANAD Festival each spring, Explore.Brussels is proud to launch a brand-new event this autumn: the ANTE Festival, a must for anyone passionate about architectural heritage.

During two weekends in October 2025, this festival will uncover the hidden gems of Brussels’ architecture from the so-called “long 19th century” (1780–1920)—a period of intense innovation, stylistic transitions and bold experimentation, both aesthetic and technical.

As a counterpart to BANAD (Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco), the ANTE Festival will become a key moment in the cultural calendar. From Neoclassicism to Eclecticism, it invites visitors to explore the foundations of modernity and the remarkable depth and diversity of Brussels’ built heritage.
