The calendar of the activities of the Brussels office includes many events: thematic exhibitions, previews of selections of masterpieces of the season, conferences, expertise days,… Artcurial wants to share more information on its topics every day by using the versatility of her team. The house, which can count on experts and professionals who put their passion at the service of their work, conducts thorough research into the collections it auctions. This year, Artcurial's Brussels team was reinforced with the arrival of a new expert, Aude de Vaucresson, who is a specialist in Contemporary Art and Contemporary African Art. Housed in a stately mansion in the heart of the embassy district on Ter Kamerenbos (Franklin Rooseveltlaan), the office is an unmissable meeting place for Brussels collectors and art lovers. Vinciane de Traux has headed Artcurial's Brussels office since 2012. She obtained her license in Art History from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, section Contemporary Art, as well as a diploma from CREPAC in the Department of Business Manager Antiquair/Art Dealer. Vinciane de Traux has also followed an additional cycle organized by IESA Belgium. After a position at Sotheby's in London in the Inventory Department, she spent fifteen years at Sotheby's in Brussels as an expert liaison and later as director of the Arts and Crafts Departments. Using her competences as well as her expertise and network, Vinciane de Traux has taken on the challenge of incorporating Artcurial into the Brussels and Belgian landscape. Today, the Brussels office occupies a leading position in the Belgian art market.
