R\u00e9uni depuis les ann\u00e9es 1970, cet ensemble rend hommage \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153il de ce collectionneur discret et passionn\u00e9. R\u00e9guli\u00e8rement sollicit\u00e9e pour des expositions majeures \u00e0 travers des pr\u00eats d\u2019\u0153uvres, la collection se d\u00e9voile ici pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans toute son ampleur. Nourrie de s\u00e9jours en Afrique \u2014 de l\u2019\u00c9thiopie au Ghana ou encore au Mali, o\u00f9 Jean-Jacques Rotthier s\u2019installe un temps \u2014 et enrichie au fil de d\u00e9cennies de dialogues avec des experts de premier plan tels que Bernard de Grunne et Pierre Dartevelle, la collection d\u2019art africain s\u2019inscrit dans la lign\u00e9e des grandes collections d\u2019amateurs du XXe
