For more than ten years, the Li\u00e8ge International Comedy Film Festival has celebrated comedy in all its forms through a competition unique in Europe. The FIFCL is in fact the only European festival entirely dedicated to international comedies. Each year, it presents world or Belgian premieres of films from around the globe: pure, social, romantic, dramatic, dark, or musical comedies, shown as feature films, short films, or documentaries, either in the official competition, out of competition, or in special screenings. The competition culminates in the presentation of the Golden and Crystal Bulls awards. Beyond the screenings, the festival also offers meetings with film personalities, professional events, the CineCom\u00e9dies Lab writing residency, a coproduction forum, a film industry fair, exhibitions, and concerts.
