This unusual site, made up of six interconnected circular alcoves, could accommodate up to 400 people during the Second World War. After more than a year of works, it will open to the public in June 2026. A spectacular heritage restoration! An immersive journey will plunge visitors into the daily lives of the people of Li\u00e8ge who took refuge beneath the bombs. More than a simple historical record, the shelter becomes a space for reflection: how can civilians be protected in times of war? What connections can be drawn between then and now?
