Ghent, the final stop of the exhibition When Business Meets Art - On the occasion of their 125th anniversary in 2020, the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) chose to highlight the incredible diversity of the Belgian entrepreneurial fabric through art and an exhibition entitled When Business Meets Art dedicated to Thierry Dubrunfaut. For more than a decade, this renowned Belgian photographer has been exploring a particular Belgian landscape, that of business. He takes a refreshing look at the small and large businesses of this country rooted in a powerful industrial and logistical heritage. His photographs, sometimes simple or sometimes skillfully superimposed, highlight the aesthetic possibilities of the Belgian entrepreneurial fabric. After Brussels (Bozar), Mons and Tournai, Thierry Dubrunfaut is exhibiting at the Industrie Museum (Ghent) from Sept. 12 to Oct. 14. The artist will present there some fifty works, both new and old, from different series.
