The Festival international de jardins | Hortillonnages Amiens, organized by Art & Jardins | Hauts-de-France has grown stronger and stronger over the years and has developed into one of the most important tourist events on the Somme. 2024, an anniversary year, marks the 15th anniversary of this initiative. To mark the occasion, the trail unveils some 50 installations, old (some are renewed every year) and new, designed and produced by landscape architects, architects and visual artists. In addition to the exceptional nature of the site, one of the unique features of this initiative is that the trail can be followed on foot or by electric boat. The Hortillonnages Amiens is the ideal way to enjoy a timeless getaway alone, with family or friends just two hours from Brussels. The little Belgian extra? Some of the installations are Belgian, designed by the collectives PionniersPlanters, Les Faufilées and Dallas.
