Produced in partnership with the Ateliers du Texte et de l’Image (ATI), the exhibition 'Louise-Marie Cumont & Sandra Dufour - Textile Pages' brings together two closely related textile universes, that of sewing and embroidery and that of screen printing. It is the universe of two authors who work with thread and fabric in the field of youth illustration with a singular graphic design, all smooth and poetic. At least at first glance. Louise-Marie Cumont, visual artist, is present in prestigious international collections. Alongside her career as an artist, she has been creating fabric children's books for over thirty years. Sandra Dufour, for her part, is an author and her graphic creations join the world of illustration. Since 2007, she has been embroidering pages, which she scans and collects in books since 2007. The exhibition presents original small-format works by two big names in the Youth edition, which have, for the most part, been reproduced as part of paper editions.
