Artcurial Brussels - a real player on the Belgian art scene

Vom 01/08/2018 bis 01/01/2019

The calendar of activities of the Brussels office includes many events: thematic exhibitions, previews of selections of masterpieces of the season, conferences, expert days, etc. Artcurial wants to share more information on its topics every day by drawing on the versatility of its team. The house, which can count on experts and professionals who put their passion at the service of their work, carries out thorough research into the collections they auction. The office, which is housed in a stately mansion in the heart of the Embassy district on Avenue de la Cambre (Franklin Roosevelt Avenue), is an unmissable meeting place for Brussels collectors and art lovers. Vinciane de Traux has been heading the Brussels office of Artcurial since 2012. She holds a degree in Art History from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, contemporary art section, as well as a diploma from CREPAC in the department of Head of Antiques/Art Trader. Vinciane de Traux also followed an additional cycle organised by IESA Belgium. After a position at Sotheby's in London in the Inventories Department, she worked at Sotheby's in Brussels for fifteen years as an expert liaison and later as Director of the Applied Arts Departments. Using both her skills and her expertise and network, Vinciane de Traux took up the challenge of implanting Artcurial in the Brussels, and Belgian, landscape. Today, the Brussels office occupies a leading position in the Belgian art market.
