For 10 years, the KIKK festival has been a real laboratory that has never stopped evolving and re-inventing itself. But its DNA has remained true to itself. "There is one thing we care about: it's taking care of the people we are talking to. We take care of the content. We make sure that it is rich. And this richness, we try to transmit it", Gaëtan Libertiaux, artistic director.
It is with this leitmotiv in mind that the KIKK Festival will offer from the 4th of November to the 7th, an immersion in the universe of digital and creative cultures. During 4 days, it will multiply initiatives and opportunities to enjoy. After almost two years of deprivation and the cancelled edition of 2020, the abundant offer of this year should allow all modes of discovery. Here is a small overview of the highlights of the festival.
At the very beginning, the KIKK festival offered exclusively conferences and was an event intended mainly for professionals. Over the years, it has opened up to a wider audience. Today, the festival is divided into two parts:
A paying zone for professionals made of conferences, KIKK Tech, masterclasses and the Creative Village, the brand new version of the KIKK Pro.
A free zone for the general public with the KIKK in Town, an itinerary of 40 artistic and interactive installations and performances taking over the whole city of Namur and the MARKET on the Place d'Armes, a demonstration space of innovative objects designed by inspired entrepreneurs.
