Antica Namur, the biggest art fair in Wallonia, opens her doors from 10 until 18 November 2019. Antica Namur is the first meeting place of the art market in autumn. The fair unites 130 top notch Belgian and foreign exhibitors. The big houses are present at this not to miss meeting for collectors and art lovers.
France is represented by the best galleries. Among the thirty French exhibitors, Galerie Ary Jan, Beres, Berger, Bouisset, Univers du Bronze, Martel Greiner, Jaegy Theoleyre, Alain Pautot, Galerie Suggere, Théorème, Berger and for the first time the galleries Monluc (furniture from the XIX th century) and Toboggan (Napoleon III).
Amongst the Belgians a selection of more than 80 very prestigious Belgian galleries like Art & Patrimoine, Bernard Delaye, Tom Desmet, Francis Janssens van der Maelen, Galerie Lamy, La Maison Costermans, La Mésangère, Jacques Neves. Amongst the newcomers: galleries Artimo Fine Arts (old marble work) or the galleries Debeuckelaere & Debusschere.
Over more than 10.000 m2, in the two halls of Namur Expo that received a special scenography with an open restaurant for the occasion, the audience can discover all domains of art and antiques, besides collectible objects. A committee of independent experts is available during the fair for all questions or a certificate of authenticity.
The fair is animated with a programme of exclusive conferences. The City Namur, in partnership with the Fondation Roi Baudouin, proposes a selection of exclusive pieces from her museums. The guest of honour this year is Mudia, the museum that recently opened its doors and has an exceptional selection of historical, modern and contemporary works in Redu, the village of Books.
